Required Education: Hight School Diploma or GED. Required Work Experience: Minimum 10 years mortgage experience including at least 3 years’ experience closing/funding loans and correspondent experience. The ideal candidate will have more than 5 years’ experience closing/funding loans and correspondent experience. A background in delivery of high-quality secondary market loans. Extensive experience in reviewing title work, appraisals, origination software, closing processes, ensuring compliance through definition and implementation of process, understanding of secondary market requirements for pull through and best efforts/mandatory pricing, knowledge of both conventional and government loan products and their respective requirements for insuring ; recent compliance training and knowledge surrounding RESPA and TILA, ability to apply regulatory compliance and investor requirements in developing departmental processes. Experience in closing secondary market loans in states other than Iowa, including states that utilize settlement agents and/or remote closings/eclosings. Technology Skills: word, excel, DU, DO, LP, GUS, origination software (preferably Encompass), closing software, SnapDocs Required Skills or Traits for the Position: Ability to review processes and visualize necessary changes and implement complex strategies within a multi-faceted organization.
