Manages all aspects of the mortgage underwriting workflow for all mortgage products offered by the bank including secondary and portfolio loans.

Reviews and develops all aspects of mortgage loan guidelines to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Manages underwriting staff in the day to day performance of their jobs.

Responsible for assigning loan files, establishing and monitoring turn times and providing support to UW team

Ensures project/department milestones/goals are met.

Responsible for implementing and maintaining procedures, policies and guidelines to assure that mortgage underwriting is current with secondary market and investor requirements and guidelines.

Adheres to all State and Federal Banking Regulations, receive and research new regulations, policies and procedures and implement them. Ensure necessary changes or recommendations have been implemented as directed.

Assists with training of lenders on bank and investor products and programs.

Participate in the Mortgage Leadership Team.
