Manage and direct the deposit operations activities of the Bank.
Ensure efficient delivery of back-office support services for deposit products and services, including new and existing deposit account and related services, (i.e. dispute, debit card and overdrafts) set-up and maintenance, regulatory transaction monitoring, item processing and related exception item resolution.
Responsible for the development, communication, and implementation of all aspects of deposit operations related programs and procedures. Responsible for the system administration for the bank’s core processing software and other software utilized by the deposit operations department and manages the implementation of the core processing software core conversions. Ensure operation procedures and technology are continuously improving including being the system expert for Core System. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Provide oversight of Deposit Operations personnel to ensure processes are efficiently executed, timely, and in accordance with department guidelines, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintains primary relationships with system vendors related to Bank. Responsible for recommending, planning, implementation and control of activities designed to achieve the Bank Operation’s long-range objectives, including; capacity planning, quality control, process improvement, regulatory compliance, internal and external customer service and development of deposit operations staff. Provide operational, administrative, and technical support to departments throughout the organization. Responsible for the maintenance and supervision of data processing, overall operational management of customer data and financial records, and the review of financial and regulatory reports. Develops operations policies and procedures ensuring all bank policies and procedures are updated and implemented while keeping current on regulations affecting the department. |
